From the Founder

The person who builds and maintains Medi eBook and its study tools.

Founder and Developer

  • BS Computer Science, NUML
  • Web Developer
  • AI Tools Specialist

I am a web developer and AI tools specialist with a BS in Computer Science from the National University of Modern Languages (NUML), and I spend much of my time researching the medical field and building free tools that make learning easier for students.

Medi eBook started from a problem I kept seeing: students lose time hunting for medical abbreviations and word parts across scattered sites, often finding conflicting meanings with no context. So I built a set of fast, free study tools that bring these together in one clear place, including a disambiguation feature that shows every meaning of an abbreviation on a single page, with the context and the department where each one is used.

A note on my role: I am not a medical professional. I build the tools and prepare the content, and the clinical accuracy of this site is checked by the qualified nurses listed below.

How We Verify Our Content

Medical information has to be right. This is the process every content area on Medi eBook goes through.

  1. Prepared from standard referencesContent is researched and written using well-recognised medical and nursing references, not unverified sources.
  2. Checked by a qualified nurseThe nursing reviewer responsible for that area verifies each entry before it is published, checking the meanings, context and clinical usage.
  3. Corrected when neededIf a reader or team member reports a mistake, we review it, correct it and update the page.
  4. Kept up to datePages are revisited and improved over time, based on what students are searching for most.

Important: Medi eBook is a study and reference resource for students. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and it does not replace a qualified healthcare professional. Please read our Editorial Policy and our full Disclaimer. Spotted an error? Tell us through the Contact page and we will look into it.
